I miss Spyro

This drawing is what I'm calling a level up in terms of what I can achieve in my art. I added shading and lighting in ways I hadn't before and tried to work harder on the poses of the characters to get them just right. I’ve been feeling discouraged lately fighting my own doubts as an artist but this piece shows that not only I can improve but I can also have fun while moving forward with my goals and skills.

I miss Spyro... he was the first video game character I played as when I got Spyro Ripto's Rage. He was once so popular he was even PlayStation’s mascot but no more. True he's still a character in Skylanders but those games aren't really about him. So hopefully someday he will be back in the spotlight.
